The party took place in a cozy backyard in the beautiful hills of Tujunga, CA, located in the Foothills, north of Glendale—which is also my lovely little town! It’s such a perk to work just five minutes from home, especially when the occasions are as delightful as this one. When you’re not only the bridal shower photographer but also part of the community, it adds a special layer of warmth to the experience.
Decorations & Vibe
Iren, the mastermind behind the decorations, truly outdid herself as always. She is also the creative mastermind behind the non-profit, Modest Fly Art Kids Art Studio, a staple here in Tujunga! The ambiance was so warm and welcoming that it felt like stepping into a fairy tale. The colorful Indian dresses and sparkling jewelry made everything come alive, transforming the backyard into a vibrant celebration space. Honestly, I could have spent hours just soaking in the sights!
As the festivities kicked off, the laughter and joy were palpable. The bridal shower games were a riot! From balloon-filled chaos to flower-arranging competitions, and henna tattoo stations, everyone got into the spirit. It was a blast watching people come together to show off their creativity and share a good laugh.
Armenian Cultural Traditions
As a Persian-Armenian bridal shower photographer located here in Tujunga, there’s nothing quite like witnessing celebrations that resonate so deeply with my culture. The delectable Armenian food, the lively music, the traditional dances—everything felt so familiar and heartwarming, making me feel like I was among family. Sometimes it’s hard to believe I’m technically “working” when the vibe is so intoxicatingly festive!
