Big Sisters are Celebrating their Little Brother’s Christening!
Owen gets baptized at the Beautiful Holy Redeemer Catholic Church! And now, here we are celebrating sweet little Owen’s baptism! It feels like just yesterday I was snapping photos of his big sister splashing in the holy water, and now it’s his turn to make a splash of his own!

Nestled in the heart of Montrose, California, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church stands as a beautiful beacon of faith and community. The architecture is a stunning blend of traditional and contemporary styles; its elegant spires and stained-glass windows create a serene atmosphere that envelops you as soon as you step inside. The intricate details echo the rich history of our faith, and it always amazes me to witness how the shadows of the artwork on the walls dance with the light, illuminating the faces of those gathered. The ceremony itself was touching—filled with laughter, tears of joy, and heartfelt blessings, all surrounded by loving friends and family who came to celebrate this momentous occasion.
The Big Splash
And oh, the day wouldn’t be complete without Owen making his grand entrance! Dressed in a delicate white gown that perfectly matched his radiant smile, he was absolutely beaming with joy. One could say Owen was a natural—charming everyone with his giggles and coos. When it was time for his baptism, there was a palpable buzz in the air, and as his family and friends gathered around, the anticipation was tangible. With one gentle splash of holy water, his joyful spirit echoed through the church, marking the beginning of a beautiful new journey in her faith.
