As a Holiday family portrait photographer in Los Angeles, one of my greatest privileges is photographing Amber and her two beautiful daughters year after year. It feels like just yesterday when I took their holiday family photos with only one little girl in the frame, and now I have the joy of capturing moments with two energetic and delightful sisters! This family fills my heart with joy. Their vibes are infectious, and their loving personalities make every session a treasure. I absolutely love hearing updates about the girls, from their favorite activities to the latest grades—right now, it’s all about gymnastics!
When I’m behind the lens capturing Amber and her lovely daughters, it never feels like work. Seriously, aren’t they the most photogenic family ever? With the perfect smiles and genuine laughter, it’s impossible for me to choose just a handful of photos to deliver. So, I give them ALL. Yes, you read that right—every single shot! This year, we headed to the iconic Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) for our Holiday family Portrait Photography Session.
LACMA is not just a museum; it’s a creative playground! With stunning architecture and artistic installations scattered throughout the grounds, it’s an incredible backdrop for family photos. And can we talk about those iconic lamp posts? I mean, they’re practically a rite of passage for any LA photo session! The juxtaposition of modern art and classic elements creates a whimsical atmosphere, allowing for both fun and dreamy shots.
One of my favorite highlights of the session was capturing the girls zipping around on their scooters, laughing and crossing the street in true LA style. It was a perfect blend of fun and elegance, embodying the essence of family life in this vibrant city. We let loose, played around, and created some unforgettable moments that truly represent their unique family dynamic.
